Scheduling

Self-Pay Rates

Self pay rates differ with each provider and are based on their licensure and level of experience. Rates should be discussed prior to the first appointment and fees are due in full at the time of service. We do offer a sliding scale fee when appropriate. Please ask your provider for more information.

Andy’s rate is $170 per 55 minute hour and Alex’s is $140 per 50 minute hour.

Insurance

Neither Andy nor Alex are in network with any insurance companies, though we can supply you with a Superbill (Invoice) for submission with your insurer. During the Initial call, you will be asked to provide insurance details including your name, date of birth, insurance and ID number. With this information, we can check your benefits and patient responsibility for out of network.

Forms of Payment & Health Savings Accounts

HSA credit cards (with a major logo) are accepted. We accept checks, cash, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). We are also on Venmo

Telemental-Health

Our providers may offer telehealth services if you have difficulty traveling to our office. Each provider will decide the appropriateness of this type of therapy on a case-by-case basis. Please note the following rules based on HIPAA regulations.

  • Healing Path Therapy will require a credit card on file for any clients using telehealth services.

  • Not all insurance plans allow telehealth services. We must verify coverage before the first appointment.

  • The client/patient must physically be in the state of Georgia for ALL telehealth appointments.

  • Appropriate devices must be used for telehealth in order to remain HIPAA compliant. (Skype & Facetime are not secure or appropriate)

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you give your provider at least 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You will be charged a fee for canceling or rescheduling your appointment within the 48-hour time limit.

Please arrive for your appointment on time

In order to respect all of our patient’s time and schedules, we ask that you arrive at your appointment on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your provider may not be able to see you as they will likely have a patient scheduled after your appointment. It will be at the discretion of your provider to decide to move ahead with your appointment or to reschedule. If you are driving from a distance, please check traffic and route information in advance.

Invoices/Superbills

We are happy to provide invoices that will be suitable for submission to your insurance company or Health Savings Account. Our providers are licensed in the state of Georgia.
